Member Information

Music educators and students of music around the world can join as members of Associated Music Educators Institute… providing them with a strong, networked force of experienced, educated music professionals. The purpose of AMEI is to assist smaller music teaching organizations, private instructors or serious music students with their music study programs and curriculums... promoting quality music instruction and proper study practices.

Many smaller music schools, teachers or individual music students without a large staff or alumni, can take advantage of the AMEI Alumni Associate's education, credentials, approval and experience. Members can also advertise their affiliation with AMEI as a stable force of accountability. We also help ensure that each member is presenting a professional image, to be competitive in the music industry.

Certificate Program for Members or Member's Students

Members or member's students can be evaluated by our Alumni Associates and Directors to achieve a Certificate of Comprehensive Music Studies in music theory and the performance of their instrument.

This is a great way to add to your knowledge and credentials... or to motivate your students to achieve.

Memberships

Student Member (Annual Membership Fee $99)
Any individual music student or performer can apply for this type of membership. Individual Members will interact directly with AMEI Directors to submit questions or certificate applications & materials.

Teacher Member (Annual Membership Fee $49)
Music educators can apply for this type of membership. Teacher Members will interface with AMEI Directors to submit questions or certificate applications & materials for themselves or any of their non-member students.

All memberships include access to our network of Directors and Alumni Associates for advice, support and assistance. Certification is not included in the membership fee, however you must be a member or a teacher member's student to become certified.
